Canelo Alvarez – $24 Million

Boxing’s biggest pay-per-view star is now Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. His fights in 2017 against Gennady Golovkin and  Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. both brought more than one million pay-per-view buys, hence huge bucks. Canelo and GGG fought to a draw, and Canelo’s checking account received about $42 million for the fight. It’s a huge milk cow for sponsors like Under Armour, Hennessy,  Tecate, and Everlast – brands that have helped Canelo earn seven-figures outside of what he earns in the ring.
