The first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal in badminton, Sindhu is seventh on the Forbes list of the world’s highest-earning female athletes. After winning the Olympic silver, she was gifted with a two-acre land and a BMW by two different associations in India, plus cash prizes from various state governments and government institutions. Since then, she has partnered with several top companies but the one thing she would never endorse is soda. She could have closed a big deal with a soda brand but, honestly, she already has huge earnings.
