E.J. Smith – High School Football Player

The eldest son of Cowboys legend Emmit Smith is Jesuit Dallas‘ star sophomore running back. Although his athletic skills surfaced early on and his golf swings were already as impressive as those of adults, he had a hard time differentiating left and right and wasn’t too keen on being tackled. He tried baseball and basketball but realized he wasn’t as fulfilled as he was when playing football. Emmit did worry about his son’s well-being and the long-term effect football would have on him, but E.J. has the passion and he truly loves the game.
