What: A crime mystery focusing on the Manson Family murders. An actor and his stunt double (played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt) go on a quest to become famous in 1969 L.A, around the time of the Charles Manson murders. This is not the first time Tarantino collaborates with some of the movie’s actors: DiCaprio starred in Django Unchained, Brad Pitt starred in Inglourious Basterds and Kurt Russell starred in Death Proof and in The Hateful Eight.
