What: A World War 2 movie about an international fleet of thirty-seven allied ships, who crosses the North Atlantic while being chased by deadly German U-boats. Tom Hanks will play the ship’s commanding officer. Hanks has a lot of experience with war movies, he starred in Saving Private Ryan and Forrest Gump (a part of it deals with the Vietnam War) and produced and had a small role in the miniseries Band of Brothers and The Pacific. He even has experience with boats as he starred in the Oscar nominated film Captain Phillips.
