Isaiah Washington & Jenisa Garland – Preston Burke
Despite his talent, Isaiah Washington was unable to showcase it long enough in the show. He played brilliant cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Preston Burke on the show but after a few run-ins with other cast members and some inappropriate comments at an award show, he was dropped from the series. Away from the acting scene, he’s been married for twenty-two years and has three children. He also found out he has a bloodline with a tribe in Sierra Leone and has helped locals get treatment by building a center as well as a school.
