The Wedding Party

It is a royal tradition for the wedding ceremony to showcase young bridesmaids, usually the young daughters of important royal friends. Diana’s ceremony included the traditional young girls, as did Meghan’s. Meghan’s wedding had six girls and four page boys, including Kate Middleton’s children. While we are used to Meghan being the modern one, she seems to have kept tradition – as Kate was the one who broke away from the tradition and had her sister, Pippa Middleton, as her maid of honor.
