As real-life princesses, both Duchesses wore tiaras on their wedding day. It was their ‘something borrowed’ and Kate Middleton’s tiara was the Cartier tiara Queen Elizabeth received as a present for her 18th birthday. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle’s tiara was a loan from the Queen and an inheritance from Queen Mary. Both are from the family collection but Markle’s is now estimated at over $650K! The Duchess of Cambridge wore a Robinson Pelham jewelry while the Duchess of Sussex opted for a pair of earrings by the iconic Cartier.
