Kate Middleton & Meghan Markle – The Procession
One more Royal tradition that both couples honored was riding on a carriage after the wedding ceremony was over. Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived at the Buckingham Palace in the Imperial State Landau. It is a carriage built for King Edward II which makes it a century-old ride. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s choice was the Ascot Landau for a ride around Windsor. It is the same carriage used by Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys in 1999 but even more interestingly, the silver-plated trumpets cost £90K now!
