John Forsythe’s name at birth was Jacob Lincoln Freund. His acting career spanned sixty years. It started in movies in 1943 when he signed up with Warner Bros. as a minor contract player when he was 25 years old. Later, he starred in films like It Happens Every Thursday and The Captive City. His two Hitchcock films are The Trouble with Harry – a 1955 black comedy, and Topaz from 1969. Forsythe was a guest on various talk and variety shows and in a variety of luxury hotels.
