Some things you can do as a Hollywood star you cannot do as a royal. There are strict rules about what is acceptable and what is not when it comes to men’s and women’s fashion. Meghan was able to wear this sparkly dress in 2013 at the 70th Golden Globe’s after-party in Los Angeles, hosted by NBC Universal. Indeed, she was dressed to have a good time! But here she is in May 2018, at her first official engagement as a Royal, the official celebration of Prince Charles’ 70th birthday. She wore a $751 blush designer dress by Goat coupled with a bespoke hat by Philip Treacy.
