Kate Middleton & Meghan Markle – The Veils

Both Duchesses had very different veils on their special day. Kate Middleton’s veil was created in secrecy by the Royal School of Needlework. She had a long train with a shorter veil which included all kinds of flowers at the end. Meghan Markle’s veil was 16.5 foot-long and was designed by the same designer who created her gown, Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy. The Duchess of Sussex had sewn the flora of all 53 Commonwealth countries on the edge of the veil. Its daintiness just complimented her light cosmetics.
