The Veiled Brides at the Altars

Now we have Diana and Charles, Kate and William, and Meghan and Harry at the altar on their big day. The bride’s headpiece is a traditional accessory and we see all three women rocking the veil over their faces as they reach the altar. While it isn’t mandatory, it is certainly pageantry and adds an element of drams, which is why it’s found its place in the tradition. The Queen also wore a veil for her walk down the aisle to the altar. Underneath the veil, of course, all the ladies had flawless makeup.
