Kate Linder – Esther Valentine

When Kate Linder first appeared on The Young and the Restless as Katherine Chancellor’s maid in 1982, she was only scheduled for a single episode. Since then, she’s become a series regular as Esther Valentine, who has been at the center of a botched robbery as well as a plot involving the death of her granddaughter in a hit-and-run, an arc that represented a prime opportunity for auto insurance advertisers. Linder’s other screen roles include the foreign thrillers Lights Out and Erased as well as the big-budget American movie Mother’s Day, also starring Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, and Jason Sudeikis.
