David Hasselhoff – Dr. William ‘Snapper’ Foster

Like Paul Walker, David Hasselhoff has found mainstream success outside of the soap opera world. A young Hasselhoff was first cast on The Young and the Restless as the short-tempered Dr. Snapper Foster in 1975. Originally from a working-class background, Snapper gradually builds his checking account as a successful physician. After seven years on Y & R, David moved on to the popular primetime NBC show Knight Rider, a role that eventually contributed to his wide popularity in Germany and Austria. David Hasselhoff has also pursued a career in music, recording an album that became certified triple platinum in Europe.
