Sharon Case – Sharon Newman

Actress Sharon Case honed her skills (and built up her checking account) in the early ’90s with parts in the soaps General Hospital and As The World Turns. In 1994, Case joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Sharon Newman, the unstable on-and-off love interest of fan favorite Nick Newman. Case, who won a Daytime Emmy for playing Newman in 1999, has also found some success outside of the soap opera world; she has starred in the Hallmark television movie Dad’s Home and was the first soap star to be featured on the cover of the men’s magazine FHM.
