Gina Tognoni – Phyllis Summers
Gina Tognoni took over the part of Phyllis Summers from Michelle Stafford, who originated the role, on The Young and the Restless in 2014. During Tognoni’s tenure, Summers has sustained complicated relationships with both Jack Abbott and his younger brother Billy. Before Y & R, Gina Tognoni got her start on the CBS soap operas One Life to Live and Guiding Light. A former Miss Rhode Island Teen, Gina has picked up three gold statuettes at the Daytime Emmys: two for Outstanding Support Actress on Guiding Light and one for Outstanding Lead Actress for her part as Phyllis.
