The moment their engagements became official, both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle knew they had to make formal appearances in front of the media with their partners, just like the late Princess Diana made hers with Prince Charles. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a long-sleeved blue dress while the Duchess of Sussex wore a white coat dress for the first photo with her then-groom-to-be, Prince Harry.
