While it is true that fewer people attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding compared to Kate and William’s, the difference may come down to the venue. Harry and Meghan could not invite as many people as their venue didn’t allow for it. Even so, William and Kate’s wedding was also the first royal wedding in a global spotlight since that of Princess Diana to Prince Charles. Diana and Charles’ wedding remains the most public function in history.
