Home-Made Cider

When it’s time for the Royal family’s Christmas dinner, each member naturally demonstrates their own taste in alcohol. The Queen herself is said to be a fan of the Zaza cocktail, a combination of gin and Dubonnet. Prince Charles likes cherry brandy, while William and Harry stick to the home-made cider. Sandringham cider is made from their own apples, planted by King George VI on the 20,000 acres of land. In the recent decade, there have been reports that the Duke of Edinburgh dedicated time and effort to increase their home-made cider production with over 2,000 bottles being made per year.
