A Royal Gift

Besides the gag gifting tradition within the Royal family, the Queen also has a few similar Christmas customs she honors every year. Queen Elizabeth II will gift the local churches and schools in Sandringham Christmas trees from her own yard. She gives them to St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminister Abbey, St. Giles’ Cathedral, and Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh. This, paired with the Queen’s homemade Christmas pudding she also gives away, makes up for quite the generous amount of gifts. So, while someone may be arranging a flower delivery for his loved ones on Christmas, the Queen takes the Holiday spirit to a whole new level.
