Barbara Harris was a theater, film, and television actress very into fashion. She began acting as a teenager in Chicago, playing small parts in the Playwrights Theatre Club. Eventually, she was a part of The Compass Players, directed by her then-husband Paul Sills. A version of that play named The Second City, became a huge hit there, so was moved to Broadway. Harris went on to star in a series of outstanding plays, including The Apple Tree and Mother Courage. Her TV appearances included episodes on Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
