John Longden – Young and Innocent – Deceased – 70 Years Old – Unkown

English actor John Longden was born in the West Indies during the colonial days. Between 1926 and 1964, he was in a total of 84 movies. Five of these were films directed by Alfred Hitchcock. One, Young and Innocent, was a vintage Hitchcock suspense thriller. It was based on a book by Josephine Tey, that tells how an impressionable young daughter of a police sergeant, becomes involved with a suspected murderer. Longden died in London, on May 26, 1971, aged 70.
