Ian Hunter – Easy Virtue – Deceased – 79 Years Old – Heart Attack

South African-born Ian Hunter was from the Kenilworth area of Cape Town and lived there as a child. While he was a teenager, he and his parents went back to England to live and reunite with their family there. During this period and the initial years of the first World War, he started to explore acting. He met film director Alfred Hitchcock in 1927, who featured him in the movie, The Ring. Hunter also did Downhill, known as When Boys Leave Home in the U.S., and Easy Virtue.
