Arthur Basil Radford was a prominent character actor from England, who was a regular in a number of films made in Britain during the ’30s and ’40s. The actor made his initial appearance on stage in 1924. He also had a number of film roles and was likely remembered best for appearing alongside popular actor Naunton Wayne as two Englishmen who are obsessed with cricket and wore little jewelry. The two were in the Hitchcock thriller, The Lady Vanishes.
