Hume Cronyn – Shadow of a Doubt – Deceased – 91 Years Old – Prostate Cancer

Hume Cronyn, one of five children, was a Canadian-American actor. He came from a family of well-known and socially influential individuals and of course, living in affluence as well. His first Hollywood film was Alfred Hitchcock’s Shadow of A Doubt in 1943. He then appeared on Lifeboat in 1944. Two of the screenplays he worked on were Under Capricorn and Rope. He acted in television shows also, like The Barbara Stanwyck Show and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
