Ingrid Bergman – Notorious – Deceased – 67 Years Old – Lymphoma

One of the greatest actresses of the Golden Era of Hollywood was Ingrid Bergman. She was both talented and beautiful, evident in the fact that she was one of the most Oscar-awarded actresses. She was actually tied with Meryl Streep, both being second to Katharine Hepburn. Bergman’s last films for David O. Selznick were three Alfred Hitchcock productions. Spellbound and Notorious, were both in the mid-1940s; and her final Hitchcock film was Under Capricorn, in 1949. She died of breast cancer on August 29, 1982, right on her 67th birthday, in London.
