Vera Miles – The Wrong Man –  Living A Private Life – 89 Years Old

Fame came to Vera Miles when she attracted the attention of two directors, Alfred Hitchcock, and John Ford. Ford cast her in the classic western, The Searcher. Hitchcock put her under personal contract and cast her to star in the movie, The Wrong Man. The camera loved her! She played a supporting role on Psycho, and also later appeared on the television series, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Miles lives in Palm Desert, California. She doesn’t grant interviews or make public appearances. She does, however, correspond with her fans.
