Queen Elizabeth was accused of investing in a tax haven

The queen’s 10% allocation to financial assets attracted most of the criticism due to 2 offshore holdings revealed in leaked documents. The documents showed that a total of £10m had been invested in 2 offshore funds. In 2004 the queen committed £5m to the Jubilee Absolute Return Fund. That investment stopped 6 years later.
A year later, the Queen’s estate invested $7.5m in Dover Street IV Cayman Fund, based in the Cayman Islands.
In response to the leaked documents, the queen explained that she does not manage her finances personally. She added that all her investments were fully audited and completely legitimate.
