A topless photo of Kate Middleton was published

William & Kate who got married in 2011 were on holiday in Provence, France, in 2012 when the images were taken. They were staying at the private chateau of Queen Elizabeth’s relative, Viscount David Linley. William said that they wanted to enjoy each other’s company for a few days in the isolated villa and expected their privacy to be respected there.

The topless pictures were published in Closer weeks after. The queen regarded the matter and said that she was deeply disappointed that the French publication and the photographer invaded their privacy in such an unrespectable way.
