Michael Damian – Danny Romalotti
Musician and actor Michael Damian was discovered and cast on The Young and the Restless after being spotted playing with his group on American Bandstand. Damian played rock star Danny Romalotti on the show continuously from 1981 through 1998 and then intermittently in the 2000s and early 2010s. Michael took a brief hiatus from Y & R in the early ’90s to assume the lead role in the 1993 Broadway revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, a production that set a money-making record for the highest-ever weekly gross of a revival at Broadway’s Minskoff Theater.
