Beth Maitland – Traci Abbott

Aside from some brief departures from the show in the late ’90s and early 2000s, Beth Maitland has played Traci Abbott on The Young and the Restless since 1982. Traci began her arc on Y & R as a troubled college student whose substance abuse culminates in a terrible car accident. After kicking her addictions (and, presumably, paying substantially higher auto insurance rates), Traci turns her life around and begins a career as a writer. In her role as Traci Abbott, Maitland has also appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful. She won a Daytime Emmy for the part in 1985.
