Winning an Emmy for epic visual effects is something that ‘Game of Thrones’ truly deserved, and when that happened, the creators knew they had to up their game while filming the grand finale. Following the success of the penultimate series, it’s safe to say they succeeded!
There’s one scene that may have had you racking your brains about how they achieved it though – just how did they fit all those soldiers into the set? It would have taken weeks of casting, of course, but the producers were genius enough to turn to their trusty friend – the green screen.
