Injury or Nap Time?

Fighting against alien threats and saving the city of New York is bound to lead to an injury or two, even if you’re a superhero. Luckily, the producers weren’t going to let the actors take any real-life knocks if they could avoid it, so they employed green screens and CGI to make the fights and injuries look more realistic while remaining safe.

In this scene from ‘The Avengers’, Robert Downey Jr’s character Iron Man looks to have taken a major hit. Take away the special effects and we see that he was just relaxing onset!
