Pumping the Criminal Intensity

To make a city look well and truly post-apocalyptic and fully overrun by criminal activity, you can’t just go and film on the street. The creators of 2014’s ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ cut no corners when it came to production, and anyone who has seen the film can attest to how well they set the scene of the fictional city.

In the final cut of this scene, Josh Brolin’s character, Dwight, is driving his car through the city. Strip away all the special effects, though, and we can see the setting was almost entirely fabricated – only the steering wheel was real!
