Wizarding World of Green Screen
It’s probably pretty obvious that the ‘Harry Potter’ series contained a lot of special effects, because – sadly – the actors they cast as our dearest witches and wizards can’t perform magic in real life. Yes, even ‘He Who Shall Not Be Named’! However, they made use of post-production editing more often than you might have thought.
Most fans will know that the exterior shots of Hogwarts were filmed using a scale model, but many of the interior shots were also filmed in front of a green screen. This shot certainly looked a lot more spectacular in the final cut!
